I am a fan of gluten free oats for breakfast so I have always been curious about breakfast quinoa. Quinoa is now a super trendy super “grain” and is full of protein which is perfect for breakfast. Protein keeps you feeling full and satisfied for longer, not to mention being vital for your body.
I made mine with cooked and cooled quinoa, unsweetened almond milk and frozen blueberries and strawberries. I mixed it all up in a bowl and microwaved it for 2 minutes.
Beware that precooked and cooled quinoa will not soak up milk like oats do so only put in as much as you want for the end result.
Breakfast quinoa is delicious and nutritious!
